Welcome to Zaveato. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our online platform for booking appointments and purchasing products from local shops. By accessing or using Zaveato, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our platform.
Zaveato provides a platform that connects customers with service providers for appointment bookings and with local shops for product purchases. We facilitate the booking and ordering process but are not directly responsible for the services provided by third-party Service Providers or the products sold by third-party Shops.
2. Definitions
- "Platform" refers to the Zaveato website and any associated applications.
- "User" refers to anyone who accesses or uses the Platform.
- "Customer" refers to users who book appointments or place orders through the Platform.
- "Service Provider" refers to professionals or businesses offering appointment-based services through the Platform.
- "Shop" or "Shop Owner" refers to businesses selling products through the Platform.
- "Services" refers to the appointment-based services offered by Service Providers on the Platform.
- "Products" refers to goods and items offered for sale by Shops on the Platform.
- "Appointment" refers to a service booking made through the Platform.
- "Order" refers to a product purchase made through the Platform.
- "Partner" refers collectively to Service Providers and Shop Owners.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
3.3 Account Types
- Customer Accounts: For individuals booking appointments and placing orders
- Service Provider Accounts: For professionals offering appointment-based services
- Shop Owner Accounts: For businesses selling products
- Admin Accounts: For platform administrators
4. Booking Appointments
4.1 Making Bookings
Customers can browse available services and book appointments through the Platform. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the Service Provider. Zaveato reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion.
4.2 Booking Confirmation
Once a booking is made, you will receive a confirmation email with the appointment details. Some services may require approval from the Service Provider before the appointment is confirmed.
4.3 Booking Modifications, Cancellations and Refunds
Important Notice:
For all appointment bookings, the Service Provider's own Terms and Conditions apply regarding cancellations, refunds, amendments, rescheduling, and no-shows. Zaveato acts solely as a booking platform and does not determine or control the cancellation and refund policies of Service Providers. Please review the Service Provider's specific terms before booking.
You may modify or cancel your booking according to the Service Provider's cancellation policy. Modifications are subject to availability. Cancellations may incur charges as determined solely by the Service Provider. Zaveato will facilitate refunds in accordance with the Service Provider's policy but is not responsible for determining refund eligibility.
5. Ordering Products from Shops
5.1 Placing Orders
Customers can browse products from local Shops and place orders through the Platform. All orders are subject to product availability and acceptance by the Shop. Zaveato reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.
5.2 Order Confirmation
Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with order details. The Shop will process your order and provide updates on preparation, dispatch, and delivery status.
5.3 Delivery and Collection
Shops may offer home delivery, click and collect, or both options. Delivery fees, minimum order values, delivery areas, and collection times are determined by each Shop. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary.
5.4 Order Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Important Notice:
For all product orders, the Shop's own Terms and Conditions apply regarding cancellations, returns, refunds, exchanges, and damaged or missing items. Zaveato acts solely as an ordering platform and does not determine or control the cancellation, return, or refund policies of Shops. Please review the Shop's specific terms before placing an order.
Order cancellations may be possible before the Shop begins processing, subject to the Shop's policy. Return and refund policies vary by Shop and product type (e.g., perishable goods may not be returnable). Zaveato will facilitate refunds in accordance with the Shop's policy but is not responsible for determining refund eligibility.
6. Service Provider Obligations
6.1 Service Delivery
Service Providers are responsible for delivering the services booked through the Platform. Zaveato is not liable for the quality, timing, or delivery of services provided by third-party Service Providers.
6.2 Professional Standards
Service Providers must maintain appropriate professional standards, qualifications, certifications, and licenses required for their services. Service Providers must provide accurate service descriptions, pricing, and availability information.
6.3 Cancellation Policy
Service Providers are responsible for clearly displaying their cancellation, refund, and amendment policies on their profile. These policies govern all bookings made with that Service Provider.
6.4 Compliance
Service Providers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in providing their services.
7. Shop Owner Obligations
7.1 Product Fulfillment
Shop Owners are responsible for fulfilling orders placed through the Platform, including accurate product descriptions, stock management, order processing, and timely delivery or preparation for collection. Zaveato is not liable for the quality, accuracy, or delivery of products sold by Shops.
7.2 Product Standards
Shop Owners must ensure all products listed comply with applicable laws and regulations, including consumer protection, food safety (where applicable), and product safety standards. Product descriptions, images, and pricing must be accurate.
7.3 Returns and Refund Policy
Shop Owners are responsible for clearly displaying their cancellation, returns, refund, and exchange policies on their shop profile. These policies govern all orders placed with that Shop.
7.4 Compliance
Shop Owners must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in selling their products, including consumer rights legislation.
8. Payments and Fees
8.1 Payment Processing
Payment Security Notice:
All payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Zaveato does NOT store, process, or have access to your full payment card details. Your card information is entered directly into Stripe's secure payment forms and is never transmitted to or stored on Zaveato's servers. We only receive a transaction confirmation and the last 4 digits of your card for reference purposes.
Payments for appointments and orders are processed through the Platform using Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.
8.2 Pricing
Service prices are set by Service Providers and product prices are set by Shop Owners. All prices are displayed on the Platform and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Delivery fees for orders are set by individual Shops.
8.3 Platform Fees
Zaveato may charge service fees or commissions to Partners for use of the Platform. These fees are clearly disclosed during the partner registration process. Customers are not charged platform fees for bookings or orders.
8.4 Refunds
Refund eligibility is determined by the individual Service Provider or Shop according to their respective policies. Zaveato will process refunds through Stripe when authorised by the Partner but does not determine refund eligibility. Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days and may take additional time to appear on your statement depending on your bank.
9. Cancellations and No-Shows
Governing Terms:
Cancellation, refund, and amendment policies are set by individual Service Providers and Shops. Zaveato does not control these policies. Please review the specific Partner's terms before booking or ordering.
9.1 Appointment Cancellations by Customers
Customers may cancel bookings in accordance with the Service Provider's cancellation policy. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in charges as specified by the Service Provider. Cancellation fees are retained by the Service Provider.
9.2 Order Cancellations by Customers
Order cancellations are subject to the Shop's cancellation policy. Orders may not be cancellable once processing has begun. Refunds for cancelled orders are determined by the Shop's policy.
9.3 Cancellation by Service Providers or Shops
Service Providers and Shops may cancel appointments or orders in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, Zaveato will notify the Customer promptly and facilitate rebooking or full refunds as appropriate.
10. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers or networks connected to the Platform
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform
- Upload or transmit viruses or any other malicious code
- Collect or harvest personal information from other users
- Post or transmit any inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 Platform Content
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Zaveato or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
11.2 User Content
By posting content on the Platform, you grant Zaveato a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with operating the Platform.
12. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
13.1 Platform "As Is"
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Zaveato does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
13.2 Service Provider and Shop Services
Zaveato is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Service Providers or products sold by Shops. We do not guarantee the accuracy of service descriptions, product listings, qualifications, or availability information provided by Partners.
13.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zaveato shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform, services booked, or products purchased through the Platform.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Zaveato, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
15. Termination
Zaveato may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.
16. Dispute Resolution
16.1 Customer-Partner Disputes
Disputes between Customers and Service Providers or Shops should first be resolved directly between the parties. Zaveato may assist with facilitating resolution but is not obligated to intervene.
16.2 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Zaveato operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
17. Changes to Terms
Zaveato reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
18. General Provisions
18.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Zaveato regarding your use of the Platform.
18.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18.3 Waiver
No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.
