How to Setup Your Shop
Follow these simple steps to get your shop live on Zaveato and start selling to customers.

Complete all steps to activate your shop
Create Your Shop
Set up your shop name and unique code
Start by creating your shop with a memorable name and unique shop code. The shop code becomes part of your shop URL and cannot be changed later, so choose wisely!
Add Shop Address & Contact Info
Where is your shop located?
Enter your shop's complete address and contact information. Customers need to know where you're located for collection orders and delivery range calculations.
Setup Payment (Stripe)
Connect your payment account
Connect with Stripe to accept card payments securely. Zaveato manages the payment processing for you, with funds transferred to your bank account monthly.
Select Your Shop Categories
What type of shop are you?
Choose the base categories that best describe your shop (e.g., Grocery, Restaurant, Bakery, Butcher). This helps customers find you when browsing.
Create Product Categories
Organise your products into categories
Create categories to organise your products (e.g., "Fresh Produce", "Dairy", "Beverages"). Good categorisation makes it easier for customers to find what they're looking for.
Add Your Products
List your products for sale
Add your products with names, descriptions, prices, and images. You can add products one by one or import them in bulk via CSV file.
Configure Fulfilment Options
Set up collection and/or delivery
Choose how customers can receive their orders. Enable collection for in-store pickup, delivery for home delivery, or both. Set delivery fees, minimum order values, and estimated times.
Upload Logo & Banner
Brand your shop with visuals
Upload your shop logo and a banner image to make your shop stand out. Professional branding builds trust with customers.
Add Your Policies
Set terms, returns, and refund policies
Add your shop policies including terms and conditions, return policy, refund policy, and cancellation policy. Clear policies protect both you and your customers.
Run Readiness Check & Activate
Verify all requirements are met
The system will verify that all requirements are met before you can activate your shop. Fix any outstanding items, then click "Activate Shop" to go live!
Your Shop is Live!
Congratulations! You can now accept orders
Your shop is now active and customers can start ordering from you on Zaveato. Monitor your orders from the Live Orders dashboard.
Pro Tip: Complete Your Business Profile
It is highly recommended to update your Business Profile with all helpful information for customers. A complete profile builds trust and helps your shop stand out.
- Add your business description and story
- Include your opening hours
- Add social media links
- Enable Pay on Delivery/Pickup if desired
Add Staff Members
If you have staff who will manage orders, add them as shop staff so they can access the orders dashboard and process orders.
Product Extras
Set up product extras and add-ons to allow customers to customise their orders (e.g., extra toppings, gift wrapping).
